To address global issues including climate change, migration, urbanisation and sustainable development, you need to understand both environmental and cultural perspectives. This course empowers you to consider all dimensions of the issues and to offer solutions that are culturally respected and sustainable.
As a student, you’ll join the Department of Geography in the School of Global Studies, home to leading academics who are shaping policy. You’ll benefit from an excellent choice of local and global field-trip destinations, giving you the opportunity to take your learning out into the field. Recent destinations have included the Mojave Desert, Los Angeles, China, Corsica and Greece. Plus our setting – within the South Downs National Park – means you’ll have the opportunity to take your learning out into the field on your doorstep.
