On this module, you'll begin your journey into research methods, focusing on the scientific method and its role in psychology. You'll learn to:

  • understand the importance of the scientific method in psychological research
  • design sound scientific studies and create measurable research questions
  • summarise and visualise data effectively
  • identify and address ethical considerations in experimental research.

This is the first of four core modules designed to develop your research skills throughout your studies.
