Spring teaching
This module explores:
- the role of research in the context of clinical psychology
- what kind of questions clinical psychologists are interested in addressing and how they might go about answering them
- how to design and evaluate a proposal for a clinical research project, including discussion of practical, ethical and design issues that clinical psychologists are likely to encounter in the real-world NHS
- the clinical implications of research and what promotes and restricts the implementation of evidence-based practice.
